A long time ago, JDM was "Justin Downey Marketing." Before that it was, Justin Downey Marketing, LLC and before that it was just Justin Downey. That's pretty much the story of JDM—well, most of it.
The Story of JDM
On Valentine's Day of 2007, Justin Downey woke up in a cold sweat after realizing that he had an incorporation meeting later that day and had completely forgotten to come up with a name for his new firm.
He tossed out a few ideas like, "3-Feet", "Tips Accepted", "Big Ideas", "Your Name", and "Monkey Marketing" but in lieu of a cleaver name, he settled on "Justin Downey Marketing" because the name wasn't already taken. In fact, that was the unofficial tag line, "because the name wasn't already taken."
Later that day, he celebrated the legal birth of his new company, realizing that was the easy part.
The firm grew slowly but steadily, until July 4th, 2008 when he decided it was time Justin Downey Marketing grew up. The firm was rebranded as JDM, Marketing Evolved. It sported a new logo, new attitude, and refined business model.
Since the Independence Day rebranding, JDM has expanded it service offering as well as its service area.
Today, JDM is truly a full-service marketing firm providing marketing services that combine proven strategies, innovative tactics and emerging technologies whose goal it is to evolve marketing.
