Think you've got what it takes to join the JDM team? The following are the positions we are currently looking to fill.

'Associates' are primarily project-based positions for specialists. Associates, after proving their necessity to the firm, can be hired on as full or part-time employees of JDM. 'Managers' are those full to part-time employees who where hired out of the Associates pool. 'Directors' are not hired, but rather, promoted from within. Directors run their own teams and set their own priorities. They answer only to the Managing Director, Mr. Downey.

Master Copywriter

Master Copywriter
Associate Position

Clever, concise, and insightful copywriting can make the difference between a campaign that looks great (but gets tossed) and one that demands attention, compels the user to take action, and generates results.

This position entails developing content for activities including: taglines, press releases, website content, print advertising, billboards, radio and brochure copy. This position also has a large quality control aspect. Copy quality is harder to control than design quality. In other words, you must know the difference between i.e. and e.g.!

Creative Designer Job

There's a difference between an artist and a designer. We're looking for designers who can understand what the design needs to achieve and use every line, color, pixel, gradient, filter and drop of ink to that end.

This position will work closely with our Creative Director and her team. We're looking for young, self-starters who have the talent and dedication to produce their very best work each and every time. By their very best work, we mean not just creatively. We're looking for the innovators of creative.

Technical Development Specialist
Associate Position

At JDM, there's no such thing as technical difficulties—until we have technical difficulties.

We're looking for a technical generalist to work closely with our Technical Director on projects requiring, website coding (HTML, XML, PHP mostly), database admin (MySQL mostly), flash development, etc.

We need someone to say, "That's never been done before! I'll figure it out."

Development and implementation of a CRM or SFA solution can be a daunting task—especially if there exists no formal processes for marketing, sales or customer service currently.

We're looking for a person who enjoys a challenge, has experience rolling-out and administering these technologies and isn't afraid of making process decisions on their own. Ultimately, we need to be able to call on
a process and technology rock star!

AV Producer

If a picture says a thousand words, imagine how many words 30 frames per second can say!

We're looking for a person who can manage and produce audio and video projects. Primarily, project types include radio ad recording and editing as well as video testimonials production.

When the plan calls for audio and video production, we want someone we can unleash and let run the project.

Internship

While most internships involve getting coffee and dry cleaning, that's not interesting here at JDM.

Our Director-level internship program employs a top-down approach. Interns will work closely with JDM's Owner, understanding the business from that vantage point and work down through strategy, client relations, and finally to tactical campaign execution. The 1 month program is intensive; it's broad; and unpaid except for reimbursements for all expenses associated with the internship including: travel, lunches and, yes, dry cleaning.

Office Manager

Although usually thought of as a secretary position, our Office Manager position is a management position.

We're looking for a quick-learner who can manage office supplies, IT, communications, scheduling, shipping & receiving, and help keep us all organized.

This position is the only non-Director part-time position that reports directly to the Owner/Managing Director.
