About the E-Commerce Website Project
The old Omaha's commerce website was providing fewer and fewer sales, incorrect shipping and billing info and all-out crashing during peak traffic.
The project entailed the redesign of the website with an emphasis on dynamic changing content, easy navigation, robust and secure checkout as well as a push for "cross-selling".
The site is able to aggregate customer data and change layout, suggested products and display a dashboard analysis for senior management in almost real-time.
JDM also developed the "Fast-Find" feature. Never before attempted in this industry, this visual cross-seller also helps achieve the projects marketing objectives by displaying associated products together in context (albeit a little idealized).
