HOME :: ABOUT JDM :: MARKETING TEAM :: LAURIE WILLIAMSON
Copy writing may not be fine art — but there is an art to creating successful marketing materials. Laurie's Ad Professor, Jack Sprague, once defined advertising copy as "Slowing down pieces of paper on their way to the trash." While the medium now extends far beyond print or even television, his essential message still holds true. Clever, concise, and insightful copy writing can make the difference between a campaign that looks great (but gets tossed) and one that demands attention, compels the user to take action, and generates compelling results.
