The difference between an artist and a designer is that an artist designs for himself and a designer designs for the client (see our blog posting: "Da Vinci Versus Picasso" for more information).

At JDM, we are designers. We believe creative design should present the Brand, the value, and the product or service in a way that is captivating and relevant. Every color, every line, every graphic, and every line of copy should exist as a means to build familiarity, distinction, and most of all, action.

It's also important not to discount the "creative" in "creative design." There are rules to design and it takes a mastery of those rules to break them in a creative way.
